Miss Philippines MUST share Miss Universe crown with Miss Colombia
NEW YORK - The Miss Universe Organization has decided to let Ariadna Gutierrez, also known as Miss Colombia in the 2015 Miss Universe pageant, have the crown together with Miss Philippines and winner, Pia Alonzo Wurtzbach.

After host Steve Harvey mistakenly pronounced Miss Colombia as the winner and caused the latter "humiliation", former Miss Universe owner Donald Trump quickly presented a solution which the organization has accepted.

"We agree that the mishap on the coronation night humiliated both ladies—especially Miss Colombia—and the only way to rectify this is to let them share the crown. Miss Philippines can have the first half of her reign, while Miss Colombia gets the rest," said spokesperson Edward Graddick.

Ariadna has expressed her disappointment in the pageant during an interview with Univision, saying, "They could've done it another way. I feel like it doesn't matter to them, the feelings of a girl who has worked her whole life for a dream."

She has also shared her opinion on Trump's suggestion of sharing the crown: "For the first time, I agree with him."

In response to these, Miss Universe 2015 Pia Wurtzbach said she believes "it would be difficult for two girls to share a crown" during her appearance on Good Morning America.
WME/IMG, which now own Miss Universe, will soon announce the date of the special coronation ceremony for the co-winners.
