Grace Poe vows to resurrect FPJ if she becomes president
MANILA - In an effort to garner support for her 2016 presidential elections bid, Grace Poe has vowed to resurrect her legendary actor father Fernando Poe, Jr. if she wins the race for the top seat in the Malacañan Palace.

Ronald Allan Kelley Poe better known as Fernando Poe, Jr. and colloquially known as FPJ and Da King, will be resurrected according to Grace Poe's camp if she becomes the president in 2016. A contract for 4 movies and 3 small screen appearances for ABS-CBN has already been confirmed if FPJ is indeed resurrected.

A reboot of Ang Panday (The Blacksmith) was also confirmed to be an entry in the 2017 Metro Manila Film Festival for 2017 if Da King is revived.

Supporters of the Poe family are very ecstatic according to recent surveys. Long-time fans of Da King are excited to see the King of Philippine Movies back on the silver screen after a drought after his last movie Pakners in 2003.

As to how FPJ will be resurrected, there are no specific details, but apparently a sophisticated scientific process will be involved using the aspiring Grace Poe's DNA. "The DNA that proves that she is a natural born citizen of the Philippines is the key to bringing back FPJ," said one of the scientists involved in the resurrection of Da King.

Fernando Poe, Jr. was not a stranger to politics in the Philippines. He was the Koalisyon ng Nagkakaisang Pilipino (KNP)'s candidate for the 2004 presidential election. He accepted nomination in December 2003 and was to be the opposition candidate in the Philippines' 2004 presidential election.
