Manny Pacquiao: "My last match will be in Manila versus Mayweather"
MANILA - Manny Pacquiao will fight one last time on April 9, 2016 and he will go down swinging against a familiar face: Floyd Mayweather, Jr.

Manny "Pacman" Pacquiao, an icon in the Philippines and the boxing world, is the only fighter in history to win eight different weigh class titles and he's set to retire on April 2016 after one last hurrah against the man who he thought he beat in Floyd "Money" Mayweather, Jr.

The aspiring politician has announced that his April 9 fight will be in Araneta Coliseum, a venue which once showcased the bout between heavyweight boxing legends Muhammad Ali and Joe Frazier. It was contested in 1975 for the Heavyweight Championship of the World in which Ali barely won by a TKO in the last round.

Although not their third fight, Pacquiao wants to cast all doubts aside and finally "knock Mayweather out" once and for all to prove that he is, if not the best boxer, the best pound-for-pound fighter in the world.

Bob Arum spoke to the media earlier this morning (Philippine Standard Time) and said, "some kinks are still being worked out such as Mayweather's alleged retirement, but trust me, he'll fight Manny for this one."

"Manny told me this would be his last fight and I’m not sad about it because he’s going on to a political career which will require a lot of mental acuity, so you don’t want him to stay in boxing too long," Arum said. Pacquiao has strongly hinted that he has intentions in running for presidency later on in his political career.

Pacquiao and Mayweather last met in the ring on May 2, 2015. Mayweather won by unanimous decision, but Pacquiao has since protested the result claiming that he "won the fight." Despite the large amount of hype that surrounded it, critics felt that the bout itself was disappointing, primarily citing Mayweather's defense-oriented strategy in the ring and Pacquaio's difficulty in landing punches on Mayweather.

  1. Pacquiao betrayed us. lumaban sya dahil sa pera kahit alam nya na hindi sya mananalo dahil sa shoulder injury nya. kumbaga sa sabong, eh may lihim na tama o pilay. sa kabila ang pusta

So, are you our version of Neil Patrick Harris now?! Deym! How come these gays so Hot!!
Gay or not it can't be denied that he's a very good actor and singer, a talented one!!

It's really quite annoying that people tend to judge other people by their sexuality or sexual preference not by what they can do or what they are as a person! I hope many of us will be open minded about this...

Bringing Religion in this subject matter is really ridiculous and pointless, not that don't believe in God or anything, it's just that WHO ARE YOU TO JUDGE? Are you sure you're going to heaven yourself? Who are you to judge?

Gud luck Papa P! May you find happiness and true love!!
